Some Facts about the Bale Band-It and its use. |

How often does the banding need refilling:
At least 2562 small bales (122 bundles) of hay can be bundled before steel banding needs to be refilled.
Hydraulics: closed centre system
PSI: 2400 psi
Recommended flow: 100 litres per minute / 20 gallons per minute
Minumum flow: 80 litres per minute / 18 gallons per minute
Dimensions of Bundle:
Each bundle is approx. 2.4m long x 1.4m tall x 1.1m wide (bale length determines width of bundle).
Bale Size:
Bales sizes can be 35 x 45cm (at 21 bales per bundle) or 40 x 45cm (at 18 bales per bundle).
Bale lengths can be between 0.95m and 1.15m.
Speed of Bale Band-It Operation:
The fully automatic operation can average up to 350 bales an hour.
Baler Tongue Weight:
The dual caster wheel in front of Bale Band-It make the tongue weight very small.
Metal Banding:
Banding is a standard size of 13 x 0.5mm, and is very durable.
Banding can be purchased from a local dealer or us.
Can Bale Band-It pick up bales from the ground?
This option is not available at this time.
What happens if my baler has a burst bale?
In most cases a bale that is not properly tied is not able to enter into the
main chamber of the Bale Band-It. If it does, simply open the sides doors of
the Bale Band-It, clean it out and replace a bale into the main chamber.
Pallet Forks or Bale Spikes:
Bale Band It (UK) Ltd. can provide either type of attachment for forklifts or front loaders.
